Elizabeth's Promise is thrilled to announce an impressive array of scholarship awards this year, honoring EBOE Assistant Superintendent Judy Finch-Johnson for her dedication to education. The community's support has been outstanding, with a total of 11 awards from the Bange Charity Fund and 5 awards from the Corneck Family Foundation, generously supported by Barbara Field.

Councilman at large Frank J Cuesta contributed 3 awards, while Reingold Realty LLC sponsored 2 awards. Several local leaders and organizations have also shown their support, including EBOE Commissioners Maria Carvalho, Stephanie Pestana, Diane Barbosa, and Jerry Jacobs, Councilman at large Manny Grova, Jr., Councilwoman at large Patricia Perkins Auguste, Councilman Carlos Cedeno, and Councilman Nelson Gonzalez. Special recognition goes to The Dominic Parisi First EHS Executive Principal, Schools 8 and 29 PTO's, School No. 27, Senator Joe Cryan, Assemblywoman Annette Quijano, Anthony Nufrio, Jr., Becky Aiello, and the Frank O Mazza Civic Association.

Additionally, awards have been provided by The Pro Cuba Association, Elizabeth Cuban Lions, the Thomas Jefferson Award, a generous $5000 donation from the Farrell family, and several named awards including the Judy Finch Johnson Academic Excellence Award, the Oneida Duran Award, The Dr. Michael Ojeda Scholarship, and the Sandro Toll Award.
